The DOG SHOW

Lucy specialises in watercolour painting and creating bespoke, hand-painted jewellery using enamel and precious metals.  Her subjects include dogs, birds and landscapes.  Most of her work comes from commissions and she also sells some ready-made pieces in local artist studio events.  Originally a watercolourist, she became interested in how cherished subjects could be captured as items of jewellery, close to the heart of the wearer.  Her inspiration comes from the tender sentimentality of  jewellery from the Georgian and Victorian periods and also from the work of Rembrandt and Singer Sargent.
