The DOG SHOW

About The DOG SHOW
If you love dogs you will love this open house…
The DOG SHOW takes place every other year during Brighton Open Houses and the Brighton Festival in my Grade 2 listed central Brighton house, on weekends during May. Now in its fourth year, we were runner up for Best Open House in 2015 and 2018.
We show only dog art, over 200 pieces of the very best available. Fifteen artists will be exhibiting, seven of the most popular from past shows and eight new artists.
The DOG SHOW is co-ordinated by Joanna Osborne. She and Sally Muir have made a career out their love of dogs. They are the co-authors of the best-selling Best In Show series of knitting books; Sally is an accomplished artist, mainly of dogs.
During the exhibition we have special events: On the Spot Dog Drawing by Sally Muir and The Dog Photobooth by Alma Haser and new this year, The SECRET DOG, a dog art postcard sale of original works in aid of Wild At Heart Foundation, an impressive dog rescue charity. We will be serving teas, cakes by composer and cookery writer Orlando Gough, and homemade treats for all dogs.
