About The DOG SHOW
If you love dogs you will love this open house…
The DOG SHOW takes place during Brighton Open Houses and the Brighton Festival in my Grade 2 listed central Brighton house, on weekends during May. It is now in its third year. In 2015 it was Runner-up for Best Open House.
We show only dog art, over 200 pieces of the very best available. Twelve artists will be exhibiting, six of the most popular from past shows and six new artists.
The DOG SHOW is the brainchild of Joanna Osborne. She and Sally Muir have made a career out their love of dogs. They are the co-authors of the best-selling Best In Show series of knitting books; Sally is an accomplished artist, mainly of dogs.
During the exhibition we have special events: On the Spot Dog Drawing by Sally Muir, The Real DOG SHOW, and The Dog Photobooth by Alma Haser. We will be serving teas, cakes by composer and cookery writer Orlando Gough, and homemade treats for all dogs.
